    Eukaryotic Cells in Depth
The second type of cell is the Eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells first came into existence more than 1.5 billion years ago. They are found in the kingdoms of Protista, Fungi, Animalia, and Plantae. Firstly Eukaryotic cells typically tend to be morethan 4 times the size of Prokaryotic cells. Their organelles are far more complex than Prokaryotic cells. They contain a membrane bound nucleus which stores all genetic DNA and information. They have mitochondria which help provide the cell with energy and contain a vacuole to store water. Eukaryotic cells have a number of jobs that they do, depending on which kingdom the cell is in. As animal cells they provide

As animal cells they provide
energy by breaking down food as well as cellular respiration. Within plant cells they do cellular respiration as well as doing photosynthesis which helps create food for the plant and oxygen for other organisms to breath.
